OLD LINE ARCHERY

The shot is
a system.

Carefully documented custom arrow builds. A planned try-before-you-buy hunting saddle shop. Field-ready goods shaped by your interest.

WHY OLD LINE EXISTS

I wanted to know why.

There is no shortage of archery and hunting gear. I kept running into a harder question: which pieces actually work together for the way I hunt, and how could I know before spending the money?

Arrows raised one set of questions about components, consistency, and the finished build. Saddle hunting raised another. Around me in Maryland, it was hard to put on different saddles, stand on a platform, and compare a whole setup in person. A list of product specs could only tell me so much.

That is why I am building Old Line Archery: a place to ask better questions, document the builds and comparisons, and eventually let other hunters try the equipment for themselves. We are at the beginning. The arrow work, saddle lineup, and testing will grow in public as the workshop and supplier relationships take shape.

THE SHOT IS A SYSTEM

It starts before you draw.

The archer, bow, arrow, and broadhead matter. So do the climb, saddle, platform, pack, layers, and camp that get you into position. We want to understand how those pieces affect one another, what changes in real use, and where a choice involves a tradeoff.

We are starting with arrow builds and saddle setups. As we can test more responsibly, we will bring the same curiosity to the wider hunting system and share what we learn, including the limits of each comparison.
